Orientation Express @ Different Location Each Night

This is a great opportunity for front-line staff, managers, and newcomers to learn what our community businesses have to offer.  It’s great to be in-the-know which makes for a great guest experience when you can share first-hand experiences.

Each night we’ll visit 10 different businesses in different geographical areas between Winter Park & Fraser and sample their products. You can win free prizes, get free samples, network and make new friends… $50 cash will be awarded to someone each night.   This FREE event is from 4pm-7:45pm each night.

Monday: Cooper Creek Square –  Meet at the CCS fountain at 3:50pm

Tuesday: South Winter Park – Meet at the Winter Park Information Center at  3:50pm

Wednesday: The Village at Winter Park Resort – Meet at the Village Gazebo at 3:40pm

Thursday: North Winter Park – Meet at the Best Western Lobby at 3:50pm

Festival of Trees @ Grand Park Recreation Center

Come and join the community in welcoming in the Holiday season!. Multiple local non profits will decorate live christmas trees/wreaths and then thru a silent auction sell them! This is a free event for you and all your family/friends. Santa will pay us a visit! Appetizers and Beverages are served. Oh, and of course the Dessert auction, which sells specialty desserts provided by many of our fabulous Grand County Restaurants. A raffle will be held to sell a magnificent package of goodies.

Alright Winter Park, the Snow Gods have already blessed us with a few feet of the white stuff. But, if we want to keep it coming we have to keep the Powder Gods happy, and what better way to do that than an annual tradition that is as old as time itself.

It’s time for Epic’s Season Kick-Off Party!! This celebration is not to be missed (unless you enjoy slamming rock hard bumps on man-made snow all year). Do your part, and let’s make this season one for the books… snow drifts as big as cars, pass closures, bluebird days & apres all -day – we’re dreaming BIG!!

Cheers to 80 Years @ Winter Park Resort

Celebrate 80 years with a mountaintop concert at Sunspot! Put on your dancing shoes and raise your glass to 80 years of pioneering, history-making, good times, and great skiing. Hop on the Gondola to Sunspot at 6pm, concert starts at 7pm.

Free Cross Country Ski Lessons @ Devil's Thumb Ranch

Devil’s Thumb Ranch is offering FREE Nordic ski lessons at Tommelfest! Both classic and skate instruction will be offered for all levels of skiers (ages 6 and up) by coaches/instructors from DU, DTR and Grand Nordic. Morning and afternoon sessions available.

Free lessons are available to everyone but only Grand Nordic members will receive a free trail pass and free rental gear on lesson day. For more info and to join Grand Nordic visit http://www.grandnordic.org/index.htm. Annual membership: $30 individual or $50 family.

Christmas at Cozens @ Cozens Ranch Museum

Venture Out Fest @ Winter Park Resort

Winter Park is a pure, unspoiled canvas for mountain adventure year round, so come celebrate all that the area has to offer at Winter Park Resort’s first ever winter Venture Out Fest presented by The North Face. Check out our s’mores bar, dog sledding, zip lining, gear demos, Holiday Ice Skating Show, and more, plus hands-on clinics for Backcountry Basics, Ski & Board Waxing, Skijoring, and more. But wait, there’s more… stick around for our Mini Rail Jam, Disco Tubing, and Winter Camp Out.

Enjoy spectacular slopeside fireworks at the free Winter Park Family Fest. Gather around the bonfire at the base for front row views of the firework display following the sunset. Satisfy your sweet tooth at the s’mores bar, enter to win great giveaways, & dance to the music with our DJ.

Home for the Holidays @ Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre

Join Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre alumni as they present a festive and heartwarming holiday tribute!

This year please welcome back Danny Adams, Jack Bartholet, Suzanna Champion, Kristin O’Connell, and Maya Rowe, on stage, with Kent Barrett and Joshua Allen doing the technical design backstage.

Staged and directed by Michael Querio and Jeff Duke, our “Home for the Holidays” weekend is the perfect way to celebrate the season!
