What can you buy that is a ski-in/ski-out property on one of the best ski resorts in North America?  Following is a bit of a list/description of what properties are available at the base of the Winter Park Resort.  Located just 67 miles from Denver in the Northern Colorado Rocky Mountains, Winter Park Resort is consistently receiving top awards and comments for the incredible scenery, skiing, summer activities, etc.

The ultimate in ski-in/ski-out are the two buildings that make up Zephyr Mountain Lodge.  The Slopeside building truly does sit on the slope just above the Zephyr Lift.  There are currently 3 listings available in this building.  All of the current, active listings are two bedrooms but they do range in size from 878 square feet to 1,159.  List prices range from $368,000 to $439,000.  The Riverside building (of Zephyr) is just in front of the Zephyr lift.  There are two 1 bedroom units listed in this building, $239,500 to $249,000.  There are also two 2 bedroom units listed in this building, listed for $409,900 to $435,900.  Prices differ due to size but also due to location within the building, views, etc.  The Zephyr Mountain Lodge buildings were built in 1998 and offer stellar views of the ski slopes along with the Continental Divide.

The next two buildings located at the base are called Fraser Crossing and Founder’s Pointe and were built in 2007.  These buildings offer spectacular views of the ski slopes along with the Continental Divide.  Technically described as ski-in/ski-out, these buildings are not directly on the slopes but located just behind the Zephyr Lift.  All of the base condos offer amenities such as hot tubs, common areas for gathering with friends/family, ski lockers, underground parking, etc.

Studio units in Fraser Crossing/Founder’s Pointe are priced around the $165,000 to $170,000 range.  One bedroom units start at $199,900 and two bedroom units start at $379,000.

The Iron Horse Resort is an older complex located on the trail that runs between the Mary Jane and the Winter Park slopes called The Corridor.  This complex was built in 1981 and is, by all appearances, a full service hotel with pool, hot tubs, workout room, parking garage and restaurant.  Currently, there are only 2 listings available in the entire complex, both units are two bedroom units.  One is listed for $310,000 and one is listed for $325,000.

Finally, the ultimate in luxurious mountain living that is also defined as ski-in/ski-out due to its location on The Corridor is the complex of townhomes called Base Camp.  These beautiful 4 bedroom, 3.5 or 4.5 bathroom townhomes also have attached one car garages.  The high end finish level, lofted ceilings in the great room, spectacular views of the Continental Divide all combine to give that special buyer the best that the mountains have to offer.  Listed for $1,350,000 and $1,474,900 respectively, these properties represent the definition of luxury.
