Our sales numbers are in for the first half of 2016. The picture is pretty rosy for sellers. It is a little tougher for buyers due to low inventory. Buyers need to be on their toes and ready to ready to write a strong offer very quickly when they find the right property. Don’t be too surprised to be in a competing offer situation. New Listings were down 22.2 percent for single family homes and up 26.5 percent for townhouse-condo properties. Pending Sales landed at 45 for single family homes and 46 for townhouse-condo properties.
The Median Sales Price was up 74.1 percent to $452,500 for single family homes and 10.0 percent to $203,500 for townhouse-condo properties. Days on Market decreased 17.7 percent for single family homes and was down 29.2 percent for condo properties.
