Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah & Happy Holidays to all!
As the year comes to a close, we reflect on the 2012 real estate market in Grand County, CO. There are good things and some not so good things to report. Interest rates still remain low – the national average remains below 4.0%. We are seeing more buyer activity with prices remaining fairly level. And land sales still remain slow and low.
We’ve had several clients that are moving up to a larger home because they can now afford it. Even if they are selling their smaller house for less than they wanted, the difference is made up when they trade up! It is a good option for some people; call me if you would like to discuss any of your real estate questions or concerns.
And we are in the process of compiling data for our annual market report that will be out in January. So January’s eNewsletter will have a more in depth look at the market conditions and lots of charts and graphs and good information if you like to keep an eye on the real estate market conditions.
Some other good news around here – it snowed 14 inches in Winter Park & Fraser over the weekend! And we are expecting more snow this week!
