Whether it’s winter or summer, whether you’re looking for a place for apres ski or just a place to relax for a while, Fraser Valley Distilling is an excellent destination. This welcoming, family-owned distillery offers an inviting atmosphere and top-notch food and drinks that will satisfy even the most exacting palate.
Fraser Valley Distilling
Fraser’s first distillery opened just last year to much anticipation. Fraser Valley Distilling offers a cozy place to enjoy a superb drink, delicious food made mostly from scratch, and friendly conversation.
It’s family-owned, and you can tell they take pride in what they do by the quality of everything they make, from the food to the spirits and beyond. You’ll usually find at least one (if not both) of the owners working at the distillery, friendly and ready to share any information you’d like.
Stop by anytime between Thursday – Saturday from 4 p.m.- 9 p.m. to enjoy unpretentious epicurean fare in a casual setting. Brunch is also offered on Sundays between 12:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The Drinks at Fraser Valley Distilling
They use water from an onsite aquifer in their distilling, resulting in exceptionally smooth spirits. In addition to fantastic vodka, whiskey, and gin, they also make their own liqueurs and tonic. The spirits they offer include:
- Indecision Whiskey
- Rye Whiskey
- Colorado Single Malt Whiskey
- Citrus-infused Gin
- Gin infused with locally-sourced juniper
You can even take a tour of the distillery led by the owner when you stop by. Learn how the drinks are made, and get a close-up look behind the scenes!
If you go during happy hour, we recommend you try the “Grandhattan.” Settle in around the blazing fireplace and unwind for a while. If you’re here during the summer, you can relax on the back patio that has stunning views of the Divide.
The Food at Fraser Valley Distilling
Many of the ingredients that go into making the items you’ll find on the menu at Fraser Valley Distilling are locally sourced, and much of the food is made from scratch in-house.
If you’re vegetarian or vegan, you have to try the “Impossible Burger!” It has all the makings of a typical burger, including vegan mozzarella cheese, and even meat eaters claim they can’t tell the difference. Pair this with the fries that leave guests raving, and you’ll already be planning your next visit by the time you finish your meal.
